I’m Hadja Balde, the proud founder, stylist, and creative heart behind Hadja’s Hair House. My journey with hair began over ten years ago, learning the craft from my incredible mother, who started braiding at a young age, practicing on her friends in grade school, and later working alongside more experienced professional braiders in Guinea. Over the years, I’ve honed my skills in both salon and private settings, always with the same goal: to create beautiful, lasting styles that make my clients feel amazing.

Hadja’s Hair House was born the summer before my freshman year when I decided to create an Instagram page to track my growth. What began as a simple way to showcase my work has since grown into a business I’m incredibly proud of. Now, I specialize in braids, twists, locs, and more, focusing on providing high-quality styles that fit perfectly into the busy lives of my clients.

To me, braiding is more than just a service—it’s a form of expression, creativity, and care. Every client who sits in my chair becomes part of the Hadja’s Hair House family, or, as I like to say, one of my “Homies.” I’m dedicated to constantly improving and ensuring each person who trusts me with their hair leaves feeling not only satisfied but truly valued.
